Redmi 5, Redmi 5 Plus Launch with Bezel Lace Display and HD Display

Chinese technology company Shaomi has launched two new smartphones - Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus. Both of these budgets are smartphones and they have been introduced in China's Ek Event. The specialty of Redmi 4, which is Redmi 5, is that despite low prices, there is a Bezel Led Display with its Aspect ratio 18: 9. Both of these smartphones are of metal frame and the corner round. Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus smartphones run on MIUI 9 and have a fingerprint scanner in the rear.

Redmi 5 has a 5.7-inch HD display, with its Aspect ratio 18: 9. It has a 1.8GHz octaqr snapdragon 450 processor and has Adreno 506 GPU. It will have two variants, one of which will be 16GB of storage with 2GB of RAM, while the second has 32GB internal memory with 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat-based MIUI 9.

 Redmi 5 for photography has a 12-megapixel rear camera with 1.25 microns pixels. It has a 5 megapixel front camera for selfie. Its battery is 3,300mAh and the company has claimed it will provide standby time for 12 days.

Redmi 5 Plus specifications

The screen of Redmi 5 Plus is large and the bezel is low. It has a full HD Plus display of 5.99 inches, with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. It has a 2.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It also has two variants, one of which has 32GB of storage with 3GB of RAM, while the other variant has 64GB of internal memory with 4GB of RAM.

There is also a 12 megapixel rear camera with f / 2.2 aperture for photography. A 5 megapixel front camera has been given for Selfie. Its battery is 4,000mAh and the company claims it will provide standby backup of 17 days.

Prices

The price of Redmi 5 is 799 yuan (about 7,800 rupees) in China. The price of the top variant is 899 yuan (about 8,800 rupees). It has three color variants - Black, Blue, Gold and Pink.

The initial price of Redmi 5 Plus is 999 yuan (about 9,800 rupees). The price of its top variant is 1,299 yuan (about 12,700 rupees), also has three color variants. It will be sold in China from December 12.
